ESTL will, over the five-year period seek to promote gender equality and women empowerment by enhancing women’s access to and control over resources as well as facilitating capacity development of women to enable them to actively participate in democratic governance

Gender Equality and Women Empowerment (WE)

ESTL will seek to accomplish reduced forms of violence against women, girls, and children, reduced harmful practices such as female genital mutilation (FGM), child and forced marriage, child pregnancies, and trafficking to target regions, increased women’s participation, leadership in decision making bodies.
