ESTL in collaboration with AMREF Health enter into partnership to implement the Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW) Global Fund project in Singida Region, in Singida DC council.

 

The intervention is funded by the Global Fund and is aimed at retaining adolescent girls in school and empower out of school Adolescent Girls and Young Women with entrepreneurship skills to be free of HIV/AIDS by conducting HIV Prevention to the 16 wards of Singida District in Singida.

 

The intervention further is intended to increasing percentages of AGYW who received livelihood support based on agreed package, provide education to AGYW on Sexual Reproductive Health (SRHR), Sensitizing AGYW for HIV test, Family Planning education, trainings on Gender Based Violence to AGYW and Children, encouraging PLWHIV to the ART schemes, parenting skills, behavior change and Entrepreneur skills to AGYW. With the project, we have reached 150 AGYWs and 80 parents from 16 Singida DC wards (TASAF beneficiary wards).
